An Argentine Guitarist

Cristian Herrera began his studies at the Argentine Musicians Union, a renowned institution in the city of Buenos Aires, where he learned Argentine urban music, such as tango.

Upon graduating from this institution, he began to play professionally for different communities such as the Cuban, French, and Italian communities in Buenos Aires.

He then took orchestral classes with Maestro Jose Carli, an Italo-Argentinian who worked with renowned Classical artists, including Daniel Barenboim and Astor Piazzola.

After studying music for more than 20 years, Cristian Herrera started playing in the Buenos Aires Subway at the most popular stations in the city.

In 2021, Cristian relocated to Chichester, where he dedicates himself to performing at local events, gigs and private functions.

Cristian is known for his love of Latin American rhythms, such as Rumba, Tango, Flamenco, Bossa Nova and Jazz.
